The Batavia Township Community Center and Park

Is located at 1535 Clough Pike, Batavia and offers several amenities which are available for the public to use.

Our park is home to the Veterans Memorial Plaza which was dedicated on November 11, 2009. The centerpiece is a HUMVEE and pays homage to those who are serving our Nation’s military forces today. We invite you to stop and see the memorial.

The park consists of 71 acres and offers a couple of trails in the wooded section of the park. We also have a 1.25 mile paved walking trail which is called the Louis Moore Memorial Walking Trail. The trail has several benches along its length to sit and rest or just enjoy the scenery. We also have a 1 acre pond where you are welcome to try your luck at fishing.

We have two separate playgrounds with swings, sand volleyball court, tetherball and a basketball court with rims of heights at 10 and 7 feet. We also have commercial corn hole boards which are located next to one of our picnic shelters. We have soccer fields and grassy areas for tossing frisbee, football or for just flying a kite. We have two picnic shelters which can be reserved by township residents by contacting the office.

Shelter #1 has a capacity of 70 people and rents for $40. Per day, shelter #2 has a capacity of 110 people and rents for $60 per day, however for smaller groups the shelter can split in half and rented for $30. each half.

Please call the office to check availability. Both shelters have charcoal grills, garbage cans and are conveniently located next to playgrounds.

Please contact the Township office at 513-732-3888 to check availability.

We also have the Jim Bushman Memorial Baseball Complex which is located at 1539 Clough Pike, Batavia. It consists of 3 baseball/softball fields; restroom facility and concession stand and are available for reservation. Information about field reservation and field use can be found by downloading our field use policy which is on our need a form page. Our last ball field is a college level field which is the home field for the UC Clermont Men’s Baseball team and is called Brian Wilson Field. This field was funded by Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce, UC Clermont and the Township Trustees. Reservation for Brian Wilson Field are handled through UC Clermont.
