The Batavia Township Community Center and Park
Is located at 1535 Clough Pike, Batavia and offers several amenities which are available for the public to use.
Our park is home to the Veterans Memorial Plaza which was dedicated on November 11, 2009. The centerpiece is a HUMVEE and pays homage to those who are serving our Nation’s military forces today. We invite you to stop and see the memorial.
The park consists of 71 acres and offers a couple of trails in the wooded section of the park. There are also paved trails that you can use for walking or jogging. We also have a 1 acre pond where you are welcome to try your luck at fishing.
We have a sand volleyball court, a playground suitable for children up to age 10, swings, tetherball and a basket ball court with rims of heights at 10 and 7 feet. We also have commercial corn hole boards which are located next to our picnic shelter. The picnic shelter is available on a first come first served basis but can be reserved by residents and business owners of the Township and will hold approximately 80 people.
