Under Batavia Township Resolution Resolution 06-02-2022, a door-to-door vendor must obtain a Transient Vendor Permit from Batavia Township by visiting the Batavia Township Community Center located at 1535 Clough Pike, Batavia OH 45103. The vendor must fill out an application and provide a copy of their Driver’s License. The permit fee is $150 and is valid for 90 days. The permit will be signed, laminated, and must be carried at all times while providing door-to-door services in Batavia Township.

Batavia Township residents may display signage on or around the front of their residence to prohibit soliciting activities, and/or residents can be added to the No Solicitation Registration List maintained by the Township. Batavia Township residents should contact the non-emergency Sherriff’s department at (513) 732-2231 to report a Transient Vendor without a permit.
