• Trash Amnesty Week is scheduled for May 31 - June 4. If you are a Republic Services customer you can put out unlimited large items (50 pound limit per item) for pick up on your regularly scheduled trash pick up day that week.
• Junk Day will be Saturday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dumpsters will be located at 2401 Old State Route 32 behind our maintenance building and the CJFED fire station. No hazardous materials, tires, liquid paint, batteries or appliances containing freon will be accepted. Proof of residency will be required and residents are limited to two trailer loads.
• Community Shred Event is June 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Have paper documents you don’t want to just throw in the regular trash? Bring them to our community shred event at the Batavia Township Community Center (1535 Clough Pike) and watch them be destroyed on site. Proof of Batavia Township residency is required.
Amelia Transition Information
On November 25, 2019 the election results to dissolve the Village of Amelia were certified by the Clermont County Board of Elections. Both Batavia Township and Pierce Township Boards of Trustees have been working collaboratively with the State Auditor’s Office during this transition period, and have made sure that township services have been provided to all residents affected by this dissolution.

Large Item Pickup
Republic Services has resumed large item pick-up for their customers. As a reminder, this is 3 large items per month and shall not weigh more than 50lbs (each item). The following items are not allowed: Hazardous materials, autos and auto parts, batteries, tires, etc. Mattresses and upholstered furniture must be wrapped and sealed in plastic.
